'The Bearer Beings': Portable Stories in Dislocated Times
13 - 14 May, 2016
TORCH, Humanities Building, Oxford
The Bearer-Beings was a translation and creative writing workshop focusing on narrative: the aim was to explore how story-telling might be used as a means of bridging cultures and building imaginative communities in ways that would address the refugee crisis. The day was filmed and the footage is accessible on YouTube. To view the footage, separated into multiple videos, including background information leading up to the workshops, click here.
